General Motors has unveiled its latest Cadillac - at the Consumer Electronics Show. Why showcase a new model at a gadget exposition? Because it's GM's first, zero emissions product.

It's called the Provoq and it uses hydrogen fuel cells that give it an effective, 300 mile range. GM hopes to be selling new-generation fuel cell vehicles within four years but don't go lining up to put down a deposit just yet.

Cadillac general manager Jim Taylor says the first models will have a price that'll seem steep even to the affluent. As for a lower priced model? “There’s a lot of science that has to get solved between now and then,” Mr. Taylor said
