Clinton Toughs It Out in New Hampshire

Hillary Clinton appears to be on the verge of a narrow win over Barak Obama in New Hampshire. Results from the New York Times show that, with 44% of the polls in, Clinton has a 39-36 lead over Obama. Edwards trails well behind with 17%.

Even though Clinton has been the favourite for months, New Hampshire is an upset win for her in a state most pundits were confidently proclaiming would fall to Obama.

For the Repugs, no surprises. John McCain came in first with 38%, eight points up from second-place Romney. Giuliani came in fourth with 9%, on point above Ron Paul.
